Aeon is an immutable desktop Linux distribution based on openSUSE. It is a relatively small, low-maintenance system with automated daily updates, thus recommended for Linux beginners or "lazy developers". Some of the distribution's other features include a custom system installer called Transactional Installation Kit (TIK), a pre-configured GNOME desktop, out-of-the-box support for Flatpak packages, Distrobox configured to launch Tumbleweed containers, and automatic rollbacks to its last working state.

Tsurugi Linux is an Ubuntu-based Linux distribution designed to support Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) investigations, malware analysis, and Open Source INTelligence (OSINT) activities. It comes with many popular software tools to conduct an in-depth forensic or incident response investigation, as well as several special features, like device write blocking at kernel level, a dedicated Computer Vision analysis functionality, and an OSINT profile switcher. Tsurugi Linux can be used in live mode but its main goal is to be installed and to serve as the default forensics lab.

ML4W OS is an Arch Linux-based distribution featuring a heavily customised Hyprland tiling compositor. The project specialises primarily in creating advanced configuration for Hyprland, so called "dotfiles", which are available for installation on several other Arch-based distributions, as well as Fedora and openSUSE. However, the live ML4W OS ISO image is a standalone, full-featured Linux distribution with all Hyprland configuration files, applications, icons, themes and wallpapers included. It can be installed to a hard disk using a custom text-mode system installer. The project also provides extensive documentation about setting up and configuring Hyprland.
BigLinux 2026.04.04
BigLinux is a Brazilian Linux distribution localised into Brazilian Portuguese (with support for English). It is was originally based on Kubuntu, but starting from 2017 the distribution was re-born based on deepin. It then offered two desktop environments - Cinnamon and Deepin. In 2021 the distribution switched bases and desktop environments again, migrating to Manjaro Linux and using the KDE Plasma desktop.

Essora Eos is a set of desktop Linux distributions based either on Debian's "Stable" branch or Devuan, featuring the lightweight JWM or Openbox window managers or the heavyweight KDE Plasma desktop environment. The Devuan edition uses the OpenRC init system. The distribution aims to be clean, minimal, fast and customisable, with only the essential tools installed by default. ShredOS is a small live Linux distribution whose sole purpose is to securely erase the contents of disks. It can boot from a USB device, CD or DVD and it supports both BIOS and UEFI booting. The system boots directly into nwipe, a program that securely erases the contents of block devices; it can wipe a single drive or multiple disks in parallel. After booting the system, the user can select a disk to erase, together with one of the various erasure methods, such as "Fill With Zeros", "Fill With Ones", RCMP TSSIT OPS-II, DoD, Gutmann Wipe, PRNG Stream, Schneier Wipe, BMB21-2019 and others. The nwipe program automatically starts its ncurses-based interface in the first virtual terminal (ALT-F1), while other useful tools, such as hdparm, smartmontools and hexeditor can be run in the second virtual terminal (ALT-F2). ShredOS is available in "Standard" and "Lite" editions, with the latter able to run on computers with as little as 512 MB of RAM.

KDE Linux is a user-focused, general-purpose Linux distribution. It is built by KDE and it is meant to showcase the best implementation of everything KDE has to offer, using the most advanced technologies. The distribution's base packages come from Arch Linux, while everything else is either compiled by the kde-builder tool or included as Flatpak packages. KDE Linux does not come with any traditional package manager, but supports installing Flatpak, Snap or AppImage applications. As it has an immutable base, system updates involve replacing the operating system image with an entirely new one.
